After a great success of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Xiaomi Come up with it’s next budget smartphone Redmi Y2. Available in two variants- ( 3GB + 32GB at Rs.9,999) and ( 4GB + 64GB at Rs.12,999 ). Xiaomi Redmi Y2 packed with snapdragon 625 SoC, an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz which provides a good using experience. It works very well and give you a lag-free using experience. Available with 3GB/4GB Ram and 32 GB/64GB internal storage which is further expandable to 256 GB. Xiaomi provided a good amount of memory for a average user and microSD card support upto 256 GB which is not a common feature we see at this priced phones.

Display Xiaomi provided 5.99 inch HD+ display having aspect ration of 18:9. Screen shows 1440*720p resolutions at 269 of PPI. Well, if we talk about it’s display, we have to say that Xiaomi displeased us with just a average display. Screen shows very low PPI which makes it look unattractive and no screen protection is provided. We have to say that it’s just an average display at average price. Xiaomi Provided many modes for different user experience such as night mode, sunlight mode, Reading mode and Color temperature adjustment. 

Camera Redmi Y2 Rear Camera works on dual-Camera System with 12 MP + 5 MP AI Cameras of f/2.2 aperture. We can say that Xiaomi provided a good Camera according to it’s price. Autofocus and adjustment of Camera works very quickly and smoothly. Although you will face problems in low light photography as it shows poor quality pictures in low light.  It provides good quality pictures and comes up with many modes such as AI portrait mode, HDR, Panorama, Low light adjustment, Face Recognition and many more. Now let’s talk about it's front camera. As we know nowadays, Good Front Camera is a crux point for many buyers. So, Keeping that in mind, Xiaomi provided 16 MP front Selfie taker of f/2.0 aperture with 79.8 degree wide-angle lens. Precise Bokeh effect and automatic HDR enhance it’s using experience Overall, It’s a good selfie taker and price worthy camera. Redmi Y2 Camera records video of 1080/720p @ 30fps. A good Camera at these prices.

Xiaomi Redmi Y2, having 3080 mAh Non-removable battery which takes 2 hours on an average to full it up as Xiamoi didn’t provided quick charging feature. And stand upto 9-10 hours on heavy using.

Other than that Xiaomi Redmi Y2 is dual-Sim 4G supported having a tray contain  two nano sim slots and a microSD slot. Also, compact with GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and other Many Features. Xiaomi Redmi Y2 is a good pick for many users in these prices.
